The design of this mug is achieved using the wax-resist glazing technique. The pattern is applied in wax by hand. Then the mug is dipped in glaze and the design reveals itself when the wax is melted during firing.

• Each wax-resist mug is dipped by hand. After that we let gravity do its thing. There may be slight variations in color, texture, and finish to each perfectly imperfect item.
