Filippi Panettone with Raisins, Ginger & Spices 1000g

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Spices were the reason for long journeys to the Far East and for this reason they have always been jealously guarded as precious treasures...A dough obtained from fresh and genuine ingredients, leavened naturally and slowly with Filippi mother yeast, enriched by the sweetness of sultanas, candied ginger slightly dusted with star anise, pepper and cinnamon.

PASTICCERIA FILIPPI 

This outstanding Italian Christmas cake comes from Filippi, the only certified B Corp pasticceria in Italy. The supple brioche cake is made from a 40-year-old yeast starter, fresh butter, free-range eggs, and other fine ingredients. Its cloud-like crumb is studded with raisins and candied orange peel.

Mother Maria and father Giuliano have beginning in 1972 in Zané, province of Vicenza, the production of naturally leavened baked goods (cakes). Together they have written the first chapter of this beautiful company, Filippi Patisserie, with genuine ingredients and family values. Today, with their sons Andrea and Lorenzo, the company goes on with the same devotion and the same enthusiasm.

INGREDIENTS:

Wheat flour, sultanas 15,2%, butter, fresh egg yolk from free-range hens, candied ginger 10,1% (ginger, sugar), cane sugar, water, natural sourdough (wheat flour, water), Italian honey, fresh milk, emulsifiers: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, icing sugar, salt, spices 0.18% (cinnamon powder 0.12%, star anise 0.04%, pepper 0.02%), natural flavouring (vanilla berries).

May contain traces of nuts, milk and soya.
